As Quality Manager you have to develop, Implement, communicate and follow up an effective requirement process from mapping and collection to requirement creation, ensuring that quality is built in from the start, in product, testing and documentation, to meet set Quality goals.

Multinational conglomerate based in Dubai, UAE which is involved in retailing of furniture.
Description
Develop, Implement, communicate and Follow up a clear product and testing requirement creation / change process including an IT system support.
Develop, implement, communicate and follow up the KPI measurements for Product Requirement Approval (PRA) , and Compliance to Critical to Quality Requirement (CTQ).
Lead and drive identification and mapping of new and changed legislation for Sales markets.
Create and communicate product & test requirement brand standards for each category.
Set up a continuous improvement program with external test labs and sales market authorities.
Set up and develop internal test lab including staffing, facilities and equipment for news development and verifying tests.
Take part in Safety Risk group decision meeting with expertise products and tests, whenever applicable.
Set up a Document Management System for product & test requirement standard -creation, -filing and -communication towards suppliers.
Set up communication and dialogue with Quality corporate to ensure alignment with landmark standards and procedures.
Train staff and suppliers in product & test requirement standards Lead, develop, motivate and manage people to deliver on set goals
Profile
Engineering or Post Graduate in Quality or Business Administration
Minimum 10 years of Experience of requirement and testing with minimum of 5 years leadership experience. Must have experience from other global Retailer in home furnishings and from test lab environment. Must have experience from dealing with authorities and legislative bodies.
Must have expertise in legislation and standards for consumer products in the Middle East sales markets but also for European and US markets.
Also should have expertise in lab testing and equipment required according to applicable international standards.
Knowledge and Industry expertise in both House Hold products & Furniture
Ability to build clear requirements and standards to drive overall set Quality goals.
Ability to build awareness and knowledge from scratch to the highest level of Global working standards
Effective communicator with excellent relationship building & Interpersonal skills
Fluent in English for both oral and written
