We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our Freight Team in Al Futtaim Logistics. The role will be based from our busy Jebel Ali site and will report into the Sea Freight Manager. The main purpose of this role is to support the commercial growth of the Freight Forwarding business by bringing new customers on board and identifying additional business from existing customers.
It is the responsibility of the Senior Sales Executive to efficiently handle client accounts and coordinate with worldwide agent offices as per the client requirement in order to achieve and exceed KPIs. Client retention is a priority for this role and therefore building and maintaining relationships is essential. A requirement of this position is to report on performance therefore the role holder will consistently evaluate sales performance to optimise efforts and to identify areas for improvement.
About You
To be considered for this role you will ideally be a graduate and will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Freight Forwarding sales role. It is essential that you have a strong commercial awareness of the Freight industry, products and services. This role involves an element of local travel and therefore a driving licence is essential.
As prior sales experience is a requirement for this position it is expected that you will have strong negotiation skills along with the ability to communicate with clients and colleagues of varying levels. You will act as the face of the company and therefore will have a proactive, professional and presentable nature.
