Site Civil Engineer (Landscaping/Construction Industry)

The Role

Salary: 8,000 to 12,000 AED

One of our reputed clients has successfully built a region-wide recognition for creating exceptional award winning landscapes, garden and interior designs based on a philosophy of enhancing the environment and sustainability.

As a result of its pioneering approach, the firm is today the first and only true provider of unique lifestyle choices. They are expanding their team and are seeking an experienced Site Civil Engineer. This role reports to the Construction Manager.

Responsibilities:
- To study the drawings, BOQ of the project
- To inspect the site condition and compare it with received drawings
- To prepare detailed work schedule to meet the agreed completion date
- To program the site work individually to meet the agreed schedule
- To arrange for all required submittals samples and shop drawings for consultants approval
- Site activities supervision and control
- To arrange for a regular site meeting with the main contractor
- To attend all meetings with consultants and contractors
- Quality control and quality assurance with coordination with the HSE manager
- Monitoring both related cost and time of project
- To follow up with all required permissions and certificates from local authorities
- To prepare progress payments on time as per the agreement
- Final payment submittal and collection

Requirements

- Candidates should have minimum of 7 years’ experience in a contracting company in the UAE.
- Fluent English speaker and good communication skills.
- Civil engineering background is preferred

The working days are from Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with one hour lunch break. And alternate Saturdays are working only for half day ie. From 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
