The Role

Our client is the government healthcare system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. Operating 12 hospital facilities and 60 Ambulatory and Primary Healthcare Clinics, our client is one of the largest employers in the Middle East.

We are currently recruiting for a Consultant - Paediatric Cardiac Surgery.

Purpose of the role:
* Responsible for designing and delivering systems of care for the population of Abu Dhabi
* Leading and supervising the delivery of high quality evidence-based care
* Provide leadership and training for medical staff
* Offer expertise within your specialty; contributing to the provision of an international standard of care delivered locally to the population of Abu Dhabi

Requirements

* Qualification from Tier 1 in subspecialty - Based on the HAAD PQR - Tier 1 requirements. Countries include - Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
* High Academic career in internationally renowned hospitals
* Current national license or equivalent
* Certified proof of yearly CME
* No less than 10 years' experience as a Consultant post board certification
* Academic tenure at internationally recognised academic institutions: Associate Professor/ Professor
* Minimum 5 years in a medical leadership position
* Book publications (Desirable)
* Medical patents/ invention (Desirable)
