The Role
You would be required to coordinate the editorial, design, advertising & production teams to ensure coordination between departments. You would be responsible for reviewing, implementing & adjusting the production schedule as necessary, follow up with various departments to ensure they meet production targets, track stages of the project, troubleshoot problems, communicate with printers & vendors to ensure print quality & prepare production reports. You would also set goals, support team members, monitor overall progress & manage alterations to the scope of the project.
Requirements
You must have a solid understanding of project management & print production. Many of these positions benefit from past experience in print media, business administration, communication, management or a related work experience or degree level qualifications that combine decision-making, communication & media production.Besides this, additional knowledge of graphic design, editing, proofreading, finance & accounting would also be a key attributes. We are looking for a candidate that can pay strong attention to detail & be tactful negotiators, well organised, flexible, calm under pressure & good at delegating work. They also need to prioritise competing demands.
