Media Monitoring Executive
A Media Monitoring Executive will be in-charged with organizing and creating reports and database of media coverage. This person will monitor, compile and categorize all media coverage of the clients as well as producing media evaluation reports through quantitative, qualitative and general research.
Skills required:
· Strong knowledge in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel Applications
· A fast worker and can prepare clear and concise high quality reports promptly.
· Have a meticulous approach to work and an eye for detail
· Can work under pressure to meet deadlines, establish priorities, and organize
· Can multitask and handle a variety of client reports simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
· Can plan tasks & perform the duties by coordinating with team members and other teams
Competencies:
· Demonstrate the ability to identify problems and provide sound recommendations to solve existing problems in reports of handled clients.
· Be dependable/ responsible and resourceful
· Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations within a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environment
· Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for cultural and ethnic diversity with the teams in the company
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Media coverage daily monitoring of press releases disseminated (locally, regionally or internationally) by scanning the print publications (newspapers, magazine, etc.) and researching online sites of news articles as well as link distribution when required.
· Measuring, clipping and scanning of the articles monitored and compiling these in the company’s report templates and database as per the clients’ specifications and report preferences.
· Update DCRs and compiling these into MCRs each month in Powerpoint reports and integrating data in Excel reports for media analysis.
· Distribute these compiled reports to Account Handlers as per specified deadlines.
· Extract coverage from an online coverage portals of media monitoring agencies and categorize huge data for the Monthly Reports (MCRs)
· Keep a systematic archive of the clients’ reports to be handled: Daily Coverage Reports (DCRs) and Monthly Coverage Reports (MCRs) which are needed for the Annual Coverage Reports (ACRs)
