Job Description
Digital Oil Field Project Engineer
My Client is a large Oil and Gas Company based in Abu Dhabi and due to their continued success despite difficult market conditions, they now have a requirement for a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer who specialises in Digital Oil Field projects to be based in my clients head office in Abu Dhabi.
This role will involve working on new offshore oil and gas fields and assisting in the acceleration and maximization of production in the most cost effective manner.
To be suitable for this position you will need to have the following background/skills:
*Degree in engineering management
*Must have minimum of 5 years' experience of Digital Oil Filed implementation
*Be a Certified Project Management Professional
*Minimum 5 years' experience in Project Management of offshore projects
*Experienced in IT and Applications implementation
*Proficiency in Oracle Primavera is a must
The successful candidate will hold a range of responsibilities including:
*Lead and manage project operations
*Manage project functions related to project management
*Prepare and review project scope of requirements
*Advise stakeholders and departments of any deviation from the original project plan
*Develop project implementation strategy
*Advises and directs the activities of contractors and consultants
*Contract negotiations
*Tendering
*Procurement
*Commissioning
*Hand Over
My client will also be looking for applicants who can demonstrate strong technical, team working, problem solving and communication skills. Drive and enthusiasm to progress and excel in the role will also be looked upon favourably.
My client is offering a tax free salary of between $4,000 and $6,000 Per Month plus full expat package.
