Job Description
Role: To function as a client
representative and support the projects manager in supervising and
controlling the project and ensuring that the client’s interests are
taken care of all stages and the project is completed as per the
client’s satisfaction.
Design Review:
Performs value engineering studies and proposing alternative solutions in order to enhance design compliance / cost effectiveness.
Contract Administration and overall project supervision
•Follows up all contract phases (Initiation, Tendering, Planning, Execution, Controlling and Closeout) consultant and contractor contracts
•Project budgeting and cost control
•Plans and controlling projects activity.
•Management of project resources
•Monitors the consultant and contractor contracts clause (review and check claims and variation orders) contract administration.
•Interacts directly with project superintendents in the field.
•Ensures quality of work is as per the specification and reporting to the management if any variation is noted.
•Prepares reports to the update the management of the work progress.
•Liaises and coordinate with client, consultant and contractors on a regular basis to ensure timely progress of work.
•Troubleshoots issues at site.
Qualification, Expereince, Skills & Knowledge
Degree or Diploma in Civil engineering
Project Management Qualification (PMP)
5-8 years experience in big projects in a site management role, preferably with a consultant of project Management Company.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Ability to liaise with people at all levels.
Proficient in software’s like AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, Primavera etc.
Proficient in English Language (Verbal & Written).
