  Our client is a well established, leading HVAC and Air conditioning distributor in the Middle East with operations across several GCC countries.
  Detailed Job Description
  Reporting to the board of directors the General Manager as the P&L owner is responsible for delivering short and long term strategic initiatives and bottom line/top line growth.
  As the General Manager your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and establishing short term business objectives and long term business vision.
• Developing and executing shot to long term strategies and roadmaps to achieve business objectives.
• Develop and implement new and improved business systems and processes across the business.
• Strategic and team management of executive level staff while providing leadership to the business.
• Define short term business objectives and oversee performance management of the executive team.
• Leadership of all business functions, including but not limited to sales, marketing, services, finance, operations, human resources and administration.
• Overall leadership of the businesses commercial efforts to improve top and bottom line.

Candidate's Profile

• At least 20 years of over all experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of senior management experience in HVAC or a similar industry managing teams of at least a 100 strong and overseeing multiple divisions including sales, marketing, operations and finance among others.
• Demonstrable P&L ownership experience with a track record of leading organic top and bottom line growth.
• A strong understanding of HVAC business processes and operations; preferably at a distributor.
• Track record of developing and implementing enterprise wide and/business unit systems and processes.
• University educated with at least a bachelor's degree in an Engineering subject; MBA would be preferable.
