Control and Instrumentation Engineer (C&I Engineer)
Reports To: Engineering Manager

Hill International require the expertise of a Control and Instrumentation Engineer (C&I Engineer) for carrying out reviews on behalf of our Client, assisting the design team, managing the user group requirements, ensuring design deliverables are met, and ensuring the installations are carried out diligently and in accordance with the design brief. The candidate shall possess the relevant knowledge of such systems and have appropriate management skills. The systems to be reviewed will include systems for control engineering systems, machinery & processes, and the monitoring of general building functions.
Qualifications:
At least years’ experience
The candidate must hold a relevant Bachelor’s Degree
The C&I engineer shall have experience with the following:
Advanced process control (APC)
Distributed control systems (DCS)
Programmable logic controllers (PLC)
Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA)
Instrumentation – 5 years Middle East experience, Arabic speaking preferred (but not mandatory), years minimum engineering experience
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager
Reviewing the development of new control systems design
Reviewing reports relating to the upgrade/modification of existing control system
Providing feedback relating to the system design
Reviewing and providing feedback on method statements relating to the testing, maintenance and modification of existing systems
Analysing data and presenting finding in reports
Be able to communicate findings in presentations in front of the Client
Work within a team environment to manage the design process
Be a good communicator & work collaboratively with design engineers, Clients engineers, operation engineers and any staff associated with the project
Liaise with Clients, suppliers, contracts and relevant authorities
Must be an expert in his field
Have project management skills to manage cost & time constraints
Understand & ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and quality standards
Provide feedback and advice
Have kept up to date with latest developments in the industry
Have the ability to write computer software and test procedures
