Fitness Manager / Director
Job Description
Job Purpose
Responsible for the organization, management, administration and supervision of all aspects of Bounce Fitness services.
Primary Responsibilities
Operations: Manage all aspects of the operations of Bounce Fitness
Administration: Involves in hiring, training, scheduling, troubleshooting and evaluating Trainers as well as updating staff training materials and operating manuals
Technical: Develop and execute a system of routine maintenance, a schedule of daily, weekly, quarterly and annual maintenance to ensure proper working condition and adherence to warranty requirements.

Other Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed for offices of Physical Education and Recreation, and the Wellness Institute
- Provide a strategic plans and program and accomplish weekly & monthly reports and attends mandatory Meeting/Reporting.
Skills
Education- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Human Performance Management, Recreation, Health, or related field (with a strong emphasis in health and fitness required)
- Preferably with Master’s Degree in related Field
- Knowledge on Health, Safety and well being.
- Knowledgeable in diet, exercise and lifestyle fields, these health and wellness directors understand the needs of the public and target this information when devising plans to better an organization's offerings.
Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills.
Leadership: Must have strong leadership skills.
Abilities
- Must be capable of working collegially with a diverse group of people.
- Must be able to handle customer complaints, incidents, accidents and other related emergencies.
- Personal Training Certification (Internationally Accredited)
- Certified Gymnastic Instructor
- CPR / First aid certifications
- Minimum of five (5) years in the same profession and/or related experience or at least three (3) years supervisory experience.
- Experience with fitness equipment usage procedures and maintenance plans
- With strong computer skills required in MS Office software and basic website capabilities.
- Must be a self starter and demonstrate initiative when unsupervised
- Must have a passion for planning program the benefits of the clients’ health needs.
- Excellent health and physical fitness are important as you are a walking presentation of your abilities.
