Mechanical Design Engineer/Draughtsman

Design all Mechanical drawings including fire fighting, airconditioning, water and drainage. Co-ordinates all MEP designs with Structural Engineer. Experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients. Review and verify that construction confirms to regulations and client requirement. Coordinate and implement solutions from process analysis of Local Authority Approval Process. Prepare design documentations as per the internal QA/QC procedure which should also include design calculations related to MEP works and Design Basis Reports to professional standard. Prepare minutes of meetings and write technical and progress reports. Assist staff to resolve complex design problems.Co-ordinate and conduct department meetings. Responsible to meet departmental or sub-consultant’s productivity and quality goals. Communicate with external consultants, Chief Engineer, and Production Architect on Department operations. Process MEP Design submittals as and when required by the management. Preparation of Tender and Contract documentations including Specification documents as and when required by the management.
