Senior Web Developer

                                                         

Job Description

1. Collaborate effectively with creative team and web designers during the creative process. 
2. Provide technical leadership and assumes overall accountability for a successful implementation phase on all client projects. 
3. Oversee employee, freelance web developers and partner web developers. 
4. Ensure technical solutions are properly architected and specified, and review all code for quality assurance purposes. • 
5. Responsible for various aspects of ongoing support and maintenance engagements. 
6. Partner with project managers and other web developers to successfully manage these client relationships. 
7. Seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
8. Deliver training to client personnel of various skill levels and technical capabilities. 
9. Turn design and user interface mockups into functional websites powered by CMS. 
10. Ensure all technology solutions are properly architected and specified. 
11. Ensure HTML/CSS is cross-browser and standards compliant and meets accessibility/disability requirements. 
12. Integrate websites with existing applications on site or third-party/open-source platforms. 13. Deliver engaging, informative and well-organized presentations. 
14. Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. 
15. Perform other functions which may be assigned by Management from time to time.

Skills

• Experience with PHP/Javascript/XHTML/CSS 
• Experience with integrating outside APIs (Al-Pro/Facebook/Twitter/Google Maps/Payment Processors). 
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and/or weekends as necessary. 
• Able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming and the Linux, Apache, Mysql, PHP stack. 
• Firm understanding of internet and web service concepts (XHTML, WSDL, XSD, XML, XSLT)
